We may not know when Jesus will return, but Scripture is clear about how we are called to live while we wait.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:1–11, Paul reminds the church that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly. Yet for those who are in Christ, that day is not one to fear. We are children of the light, saved by grace, filled with the Holy Spirit, and called to live awake, self-controlled lives marked by faith, hope and love.

Rather than becoming consumed with timelines, predictions or trying to control what comes next, we are called to stay faithful to the mission God has given us: pursue holiness, love one another, share the gospel and keep encouraging one another as we wait for Jesus to return.
