Joshua 13–21 may read like a land survey, but beneath the boundary lines and tribal allotments is a powerful picture of God’s faithfulness. As Israel receives its inheritance, we are reminded that God keeps every word He speaks. Yet the passage also challenges us: will we boldly take hold of what God has promised, like Caleb and the daughters of Zelophehad, or will we delay, complain, and settle for less?
This message points us beyond Canaan to our greater inheritance in Christ. Jesus, the greater Joshua, has secured for us an eternal rest and a permanent home with God. Not one of God’s good promises will fail.
