As Israel moves closer to the Promised Land, victory after victory begins to unfold but not because of their strength. In Joshua 10–11, we see a powerful truth: God is both forming a family from all people and decisively conquering sin.

Through miraculous intervention, unlikely alliances, and overwhelming odds, God makes it clear that this battle is His. From hail falling from heaven to the sun standing still, the message echoes: we are not called to self-reliance, but to trust in the God who saves.

This sermon challenges us to examine where we’ve placed our trust. Are we relying on our own strength, or are we resting in the finished work of Jesus, the greater Joshua, who has already won the ultimate victory over sin and death?

Because of Him, we can face whatever lies ahead with confidence: not afraid, not discouraged but strong and courageous.
