David approaches God in prayer with a broken and contrite heart, ready to repent and be retsored to a life of worship.

Psalm 51 is a personal prayer and a model for how the people of God should think , feel, and act when they are confronted with their sin.

This psalm reminds us of God’s kindness, mercy, and love for us. A love fully expressed in Christ Jesus.  In Him, we find full restoration and the renewal of our hearts.
